CNC technology originated from the needs of the aviation industry, in the late the 1940s, a helicopter company in the United States proposed. The initial assumption of CNC machine tools, 1952 Massachusetts Institute of America developed a three-axis CNC milling Machine. In the middle of the 50, this CNC milling machine has been used for machining aircraft parts.
In the 60 's, CNC system and programming work increasingly mature and perfect, CNC machine tools have been used in various industrial sectors, but aerospace workers. Industry is always the largest user of CNC machine tools. Some large aviation factories are equipped with hundreds of CNC machine tools, which are dominated by cutting machines. CNC machining parts include aircraft and rockets of the overall wall plate, girder, skin, bulkhead, propeller and aircraft engine casing, shaft, plate, vane mold cavity and liquid rocket engine combustion chamber of the special cavity surface.
The development of NC machine tool is based on continuous trajectory of CNC machine tool, continuous trajectory control. Also known as Contour control, the tool requires the cutter relative to the part according to the specified trajectory movement. And then vigorously develop the point control CNC machine tools. Point control refers to the tool moving from one point to another, as long as the end can accurately reach the target regardless of the moving route.
